As an advertiser, it is important to go through the advertiser verification process in Google. If you fail to complete the verification on time, your ads will no longer be displayed. That's a waste! So make sure you go through the verification process on time. This process is designed to ensure the integrity of the advertising ecosystem and ensure that only legitimate advertisers have access to the platform.

How to go through the advertiser verification in Google Ads?

Follow the steps below to successfully go through the advertiser verification in Google Ads.

Step 1: Provide your business information

Google requires that they provide company information as part of the procedure. Go to 'Tools & Settings' in your Google Ads account and look for the 'Advertiser Verification' under 'billing' section on the lock or click on the yellow bar in the account:

This is where you can start the failure. Then you need to provide information such as your company name, address and contact details etc.

Step 2: Complete the verification

To verify your advertiser account, Google may ask you to provide additional documentation such as a copy of your identification, business registration number, or other relevant documents. Make sure you submit the required documents correctly and completely.

NB! It is important that all corners and edges are visible on the copy of your identity card or driver's license. Otherwise, Google will reject the result.

Step 3: Wait for approval

After completing the verification steps, you need to wait for approval from Google. This process may take some time, depending on the volume of verification requests they receive. Make sure to check your email regularly as Google will notify you of the status of your verification.

Step 4: Verification is approved

Once your verification is approved, your ads will continue to be displayed.
