To generate and optimize your product feed for maximum performance, it is essential to connect your CMS (Content Management System), in this case Lightspeed, to Uptmz. In order to link this with Uptmz, you need certain information. For this you need a Consumer Key and a Secret Key. The steps below explain where to find these keys in Lightspeed.

Step 1: Log in to your Lightspeed account

Go to the login page of your Lightspeed account and log in with your username and password.

Step 2: Access API settings

Once logged in, click on 'Settings' in the left menu. This may vary depending on the version you are using. Then click on 'Developers' under shop settings.

Step 3: Click on 'New API Key

Click 'New API Key' to generate a new API key. Then enter a name for the API key (for example, the name of the integration) and click Save.

Step 4: Configure permissions for the API Key

Select the checkboxes of the permissions you want to grant. In any case, make sure that the following is checked:

Then click 'Save'. The Secret Key is displayed under 'Details'. Select 'View' to see the Secret Key and copy it.

Step 5: Uptmz integration

Log in to your Uptmz account and then click on Lightspeed. Within Uptmz you go to the configuration page for the Lightspeed connection.

Step 6: Add the Secret Key

Add the previously generated Secret Key in the appropriate fields (see image). This completes the connection between your CMS and Uptmz.​

Step 7: Connect Lightspeed to Uptmz

After entering your key, click 'Connect' and Uptmz will pair with Lightspeed.
