It's important to continue optimizing your product feed for the success of your ecommerce store. To help you with this, a step-by-step plan has been drawn up to link your CMS to Uptmz. This is the first step to start generating and optimizing your product feed. To connect Uptmz with Magento you need certain information. Below we explain step by step how you can do this by obtaining the access token.
Step 1: Log in to your Magento account
Start by logging into your Magento account with the correct login details. Make sure you have sufficient rights to adjust the necessary settings.
Step 2: Navigate to the API settings
Once logged in, navigate to Magento's API settings. You can do this under 'System' and then under 'Integrations'. Depending on your Magento version, the location and appearance may vary.
Step 3: Create a new integration
Within the API settings you must create a new integration to enable the connection with Uptmz. Click on the 'Add new integration' option (top right).
Step 4: Configure the integration settings
When configuring the integration settings, give it a recognizable name (for example, Uptmz) so that you can easily identify what this integration is used for later. Also enter your email address and the password you are logged in with.
Step 5: Generate the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
Then go to API and check only Catalog in the overview.
Then click on 'Save & Activate'
After clicking 'Save & Active', click 'Activate'.
Then click 'Allow' and the acces token will appear. This key is required for integration with Uptmz. Make sure you carefully copy these keys and keep them in a safe place.
Step 6: Save and activate
Save the integration settings and activate the integration. This establishes the connection between your Magento CMS and Uptmz.
Step 7: Uptmz Configuration
Log in to your Uptmz account now or create an account if you don't have one yet. Within Uptmz you go to the settings or configuration page for Magento connection.
Step 8: Add the access token
Add the previously generated acces token in the appropriate fields (see image). This completes the connection between your CMS and Uptmz.
Step 9: Connect Magento to Uptmz
After entering the keys, click 'Connect' and Uptmz will pair with Magento. A notification appears in the lower right corner of the screen when the linking was successful.
